How does the pass work?

1. The date you select at purchase is just a placeholder. You have one full year from your purchase date to start using your tickets. 2. You'll receive your pass on your phone in digital format. 3. Activating your pass is easy: just redeem it at the first attraction you visit. From that moment, you have 9 days to use it.

When do I choose my attractions? Do I need to book ahead for any of them? Can I visit them more than once? Here's everything you need to know:

Do I have to pick my 3 attractions when I buy the pass? Nope. You can decide later, but you will need to reserve ahead for some attractions due to capacity limits.

How do I reserve my ticket for attractions that require it? Once you complete your purchase, you'll get access to the New York CityPASS® app. From there, you can easily reserve your tickets for the attractions you plan to visit.

How do I use my pass? You'll receive your New York CityPASS® in digital format along with all the details about the attractions and their hours. Just pull it up on your phone and show it at the entrance. Total convenience.

If I'm traveling with kids, do they need a pass? There are special-priced passes for children ages 6 to 17. Kids under 6 typically get in free to the attractions, so they don't need a pass.

Can I visit the attractions more than once? No, you can only visit each attraction once during your pass validity period.

When does the 9-day countdown start? The 9 consecutive days begin the first time you enter one of the attractions included with your pass. Remember, the date you select at purchase is just a placeholder, and you have one full year from your purchase date to activate your pass.
