Step by Step
More and more observation decks are offering the chance to see New York from above. Since its opening in 2020, Edge has become a must-see attraction for travellers who enjoy seeing the city at their feet.
At 345 metres high, Edge has become the tallest open observatory in the Western Hemisphere. Its outdoor terrace, the star of the building, is visited by thousands of tourists every year.
In part, it's thanks to one of the attraction's strengths, the glass floors. If you want to test your vertigo, you'll have to walk along the three edges of the terrace, where the glass tilts, and you'll be able to take some breathtaking photos. Do you dare to suspend yourself above New York?
Climbing to the top of this modern building is also an experience in itself. In less than a minute, the lifts will take you up to the 100th floor while you watch a projection on the walls.
Located at the west end of Manhattan, the Edge observation deck will surprise you with its privileged views of the Hudson River. Its large windows open up to a panoramic view of iconic landmarks such as the Empire State Building, the Chrysler Building, Madison Square Garden and Downtown.
