Tahiti Beach, Coconut Grove and Palm Island are just some of the stunning neighbourhoods awaiting you on thishelicopter tour over South Beach. On this tour, lasting around half an hour, you’ll fly over one of the world’s most beautiful and popular beaches, brimming with upmarket neighbourhoods, skyscrapers, alternative districts, yachts, shops, restaurants and museums. In a private group of no more than 2–3 people, you’ll learn about the history and interesting facts regarding the places you’ll be flying over, as recounted by an experienced pilot and guide.
Over Key Biscayne, you’ll enjoy views of an oasis of sandy beaches, surrounded by luxurious mansions and abundant nature. In this bay , you’ll also find the famous Venetian Islands, a chain of six artificial islands home to some of the country’s wealthiest and most influential people.
Amidst the luxury and opulence of Fisher Island, you’ll see why the island has earned its reputation as the richest postcode in the United States. Flying over South Beach, you’ll see the combination of crystal-clear waters and white sandy beaches, alongside the well-preserved Art Deco buildings from the 1920s. You’ll also notice the contrast between these buildings and those in Brickell, Miami’s renowned financial district . Nicknamed the ‘Wall Street of the South’, the skyscrapers rise up overlooking Key Biscayne as some of Florida’s most sought-after office complexes.
From the air, you’ll also be able to admire the multi-million-dollar homes on Palm Island and Star Island, both of which have been home to celebrities such as Al Capone, JLo, Naomi Campbell and Lenny Kravitz. The residences on these islands stand in stark contrast to those at Villa Vizcaya, a colossal mansion in the European stately home style, built in 1922 by the agricultural magnate James Deering. Listed as a National Historic Landmark, Villa Vizcaya is one of the few examples of buildings of this style and era that remain intact in the United States.
