Step by Step
Discover Liverpool in just one day from London with a return ticket on the train. On a trip lasting approximately thirteen hours, you'll have the opportunity to visit this fantastic city, the birthplace of the Beatles. Thanks to an information kit provided, you will be able to customise your tour to access the different places to which you have tickets, already included with your booking.
From London Euston, it will take you approximately two hours to get to Liverpool. Once in the city, you'll be able to board a guided bus tour that will take you to all the Beatles-related sites. For example, you can enter The Cavern Club, the centre of Rock and Roll in Liverpool in the 1960s and where the legendary band played in their early years.
This is a must-see in Liverpool, as is Penny Lane, one of the titles of the band's most famous songs. Penny Lane is located in the south of the city and is still a lively area that retains the essence of the Beatles.
Of course, you can't forget to visit the Beatles Story Exhibition. This tour includes entrance to this museum with an audio guide in 12 languages. Don't forget to visit John Lennon's birthplace or Paul McCartney's house.
Apart from the Beatles, you also have the option to visit the Royal Albert Docks, the first structure in Britain to be built in iron, stone and brick, to round off the day.
