Step by Step

Explore the Spanish capital on an e-bike tour of Madrid. Over approximately 3 hours, you’ll tour the most important areas and monuments of the historic centre.

A local guide will accompanyyou throughout the activity, telling you the story behind each place you visit and guiding you along the entire route, where you’ll discover points of interest such as:

  • Plaza de Puerta Cerrada: situated in the La Latina neighbourhood, this is where the Christian city walls once stood.
  • Plaza del Conde de Barajas: a small square that still retains the medieval Habsburg style, surrounded by buildings of various architectural styles dating from different centuries.
  • Plaza Mayor: situated right in the heart of the city, in the Sol district and near the Royal Palace. It boasts a unique Baroque style and is one of Madrid’s most important landmarks.
  • Plaza de Oriente: this is where the Royal Palace is situated. You can stroll through its beautiful gardens and admire the various sculptures of Spanish kings found in the area.
  • Temple of Debod: this is one of the gifts the ancient Egyptians bestowed upon Madrid. It has become a meeting place for locals and visitors alike, where they can enjoy a picnic, practise yoga or go for a walk.

You can also explore the apple orchards in the Sabatini Gardens and the Campo del Moro and enjoy the peace and quiet these areas offer.

On this tour, you’ll be part of a small group of no more than 15 people to ensure a more personalised experience. You also have the option of booking a private tour just for yourself or with a group of family or friends.

The bike hire includes a helmet and third-party liability insurance so you can cycle around Madrid with peace of mind and without any hassle. In the event of rain, you’ll be provided with raincoats.

Madrid is certainly not yet the most bicycle-friendly city, but the tour was well chosen.
