Step by Step
After the pick-up, you will head to the Ventano del Diablo, a natural viewpoint with breathtaking views of the Júcar canyon. There you can watch the vultures soar over the gorge and photograph the dramatic landscape.
Afterwards, you will start the guided tour to the Enchanted City, declared a Natural Site of National Interest in 1929 and part of the Serranía de Cuenca Natural Park. At almost 1,500 m, you will walk among blocks of rock sculpted by karstic processes that create animal, human and architectural figures.
The guide will explain how these reliefs were formed under the ancient Sea of Thetis, the Precambrian predecessor of the Mediterranean. You will admire shapes such as the "Boat", the "Military" or the "Michelangelo", while you walk along paths that invite you to dream.
Along the route you will learn anecdotes of filming with stars such as Sophia Loren and Arnold Schwarzenegger, as well as the ecological importance of the area. The silence of the mountain, interrupted only by the wind and the song of rock birds, creates an almost mystical atmosphere.
