Barcelona Tapas and Wine Tasting Tour

The experience begins right in the heart of Barcelona, next to La Rambla, where you’ll first head into La Boqueria Market. There, you’ll discover one of the city’s great gastronomic landmarks and learn more about its history, its produce and the role that markets continue to play in local culture.

Then it’s time to start tasting. At the first stop, you’ll sample a selection of Iberian cured meats and cheeses, accompanied by two red wines, whilst the guide explains the origin and characteristics of the products.

The tour continues on foot through Barcelona’s old town, linking the Gothic Quarter and El Born with stops at other local wine bars and restaurants. At each one, you’ll find a different combination of tapas and drinks, allowing you to discover traditional flavours at your own pace.

Throughout the four gastronomic stops, you’ll sample different dishes and products paired with wine, cava or vermouth. Between tastings, the guide will share stories about the neighbourhood and the customs that make going out for tapas such an important part of Barcelona’s social life.
