Step by Step
Meet over 11,000 marine animals and 450 different aquatic species with these tickets to the spectacular Aquàrium de Barcelona. Skip the line at the entrance and make the most of your time in the city.
For more than 25 years, this space has been home to 35 tanks bursting with sea life. The star attraction is the Oceanarium: 36 meters across, 5 meters deep and filled with almost 4 million liters of water. Walk through its 80‑meter transparent tunnel and feel like you’re underwater as gilthead bream, moray eels, sunfish, rays and sharks glide right above your head.
You’ll also discover the impressive Mediterranean tank. The Aquàrium de Barcelona boasts the world’s most important Mediterranean-themed aquarium, made up of 14 different tanks that recreate unique ecosystems: the Ebro Delta, Medes Islands, shallow seagrass meadows and more.
Your ticket includes access to two permanent exhibitions. ‘Planeta Aqua’ plunges you into the fascinating world of animals that have adapted to life in the water: penguins, jellyfish, turtles, piranhas and many other species.
‘Explora’ is designed especially for kids, with hands-on activities that bring the marine world to life. The exhibition reproduces three Mediterranean coastal environments: the wetlands of the Ebro Delta, a corner of the Costa Brava and an underwater cave in the Medes Islands.
