How does the Amsterdam Explorer Pass work?

The pass is very simple to use. When you make your booking,you’ll receive a digital version of the pass and instructions on how to use it via email. You can keep it to hand on your phone or, if you prefer, print it out. You’ll also have the option to download the mobile app specified in your booking voucher, where you can access the full list of attractions included, manage your bookings for them and, ultimately, have all the information you need to enjoy your pass at your fingertips.

How do I activate the pass?

The pass is valid for 1 year from the date of purchase, so you must activate it within that period. It’s easily activated by using it for the first time at an attraction, and from that moment you have 30 days to visit the number of attractions you’ve booked.

What are the benefits of the pass?

With this pass, you can choose between 3, 4 or 5 attractions from the 15 on the list. You can save up to 50% compared to buying tickets individually. What’s more, as it’s a digital pass, you’ll have your tickets and everything you need right at your fingertips on your smartphone.

Do some attractions require advance booking?

Some attractions, particularly the most popular ones, may require a booking to visit. Booking them is very easy – simply follow the instructions you’ll receive when you purchase your pass.

Do children need a pass?

If you’re travelling with your family, bear in mind that with this pass, children aged between 3 and 12 get a discount. You don’t need to buy a pass for children under 3, as they can enter most attractions for free.
