Join this guided tour and enjoy skip-the-queue access to the rooftops of the Duomo, Milan’s most iconic building. During the tour, which lasts around 1 hour, you’ll have the chance to take the lift to the top of the cathedral’s rooftop and enjoy the views over the capital of Lombardy.

Step by Step
During this activity, you’ll have the opportunity , for around 1 hour, to access the upper part of Milan Cathedral. The tour includes priority access to the cathedral’s rooftops, with no queues or waiting times, so you can enjoy the views of the building as quickly and comfortably as possible. What’s more, you’ll take the lift, meaning you won’t have to climb the more than 200 steps.
Throughout the tour, you’ll be accompanied by an expert guide, who’ll share a wealth of interesting facts about the history and architecture of one of Italy’s most important Gothic cathedrals. You’ll be provided with headphones so you can hear your guide, and you’ll learn about the Duomo’s significance in Milan’s development and how its construction took nearly 600 years to complete.
From the building’s rooftop, you’ll be able to admire the sculptures, spires and marble capitals that make up the cathedral. You’ll also be able to enjoy views of the Lombard capital from above and, on sunny days, you can even see the Italian Alps.
Milan Cathedral is the most iconic building in the city. It is considered one of the world’s most representative Gothic cathedrals, as well as one of the largest. It covers an area of 11,000 square metres and can accommodate up to 40,000 people.
