Step by Step

The experience begins in Florence, from where you’ll travel to the heart of Chianti Classico. Gradually, the urban landscape gives way to rolling hills, rows of vineyards, olive groves and ancient country estates set amidst the Tuscan countryside.

Your first stop will be a small organic winery, where you’ll gain an insight into the region’s winemaking traditions. You’ll tour the premises and the cellar whilst discovering some of the secrets of winemaking, before sitting down to sample a selection of their wines accompanied by local produce.

You’ll then continue along the Via Chiantigiana, the historic road that runs through the Chianti Classico region. Along the way, you’ll be able to admire a landscape dotted with villas, country houses, Romanesque churches and vineyards stretching across the hillsides.

The second visit takes place at a family-run organic winery in the Sienese part of Chianti. The experience begins amongst the vineyards and continues through the cellars and the estate’s aromatic garden. Here you’ll taste four different wines, once again accompanied by regional specialities.

After discovering two different approaches to winemaking and enjoying the wines right where they’re produced, you’ll return to Florence. Lasting around 5 hours, this excursion combines stunning scenery, winemaking tradition and gastronomy in one of Tuscany’s most distinctive regions.
